Designed for Inference

INF-03

Why is inference critical for AI?

What is artificial intelligence [{AI}]?

To answer this we first have to understand 'Inference'. Inference is an advanced cognitive function of intelligent species - the ability to infer.

The relative intelligence of a species is largely defined by its ability to use its sensory inputs to understand its environment and to calculate and deploy appropriate actions to execute task that preserve or improve the life of its vessel.

Designing a computer optimised towards this was strategic in the pursuit of developing truly intelligent systems.

We map the cognitive process by creating Deep Neural Networks [{DNN's}] and apply it to a range of tasks to supersede the human ability of taking in information, submitting it to the system to give its user, [{the vessel}] intelligence they can deploy.

Each generation of computing requires hardware that can keep up with the software demands. INF-03 does this for us whilst embodying our pursuit of  unbridled performance;

smaller, lighter, faster, better.
